My mother was my "style icon" and fashion inspiration growing up. At that time her look was all her own, but comparable to Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy. I was constantly in awe of how well she put herself together, and how regally she carried herself. The beauty she exuded started on the inside, and worked its way outward. She was extremely giving to those in need, and her generous nature brought me to understand that giving is an essential part of living.
I work with local charities helping those in desperate circumstances find the appropriate clothing necessary to re-enter the work force. With excess clothing and accessories my clients decide not to keep, I ask that they let me style those in need who will put these items to good use. I do not drop off bags or put clothes in bins, but rather work with individuals, giving them the same service and respect as all my other valued clients.
